CrankItUp.se conducted an interview with Swedish/British modern metallers Sonic Syndicate and their producer Toby Wright (Korn, Slayer, Mtley Cre, Kiss, Fear Factory, In Flames, Stone Sour, Ozzy Osbourne) during the recording sessions for the band's new album at Bohus Sound studios in Kunglv, Sweden. Watch the chat here. Sonic Syndicate's new album is tentatively scheduled for release in May via Nuclear Blast Records. Commented the band's latest addition, British singer Nathan James Biggs (formerly of The Hollow Earth Theory): "I've been a fan of Toby's work for years. I grew up listening to Korn, Sevendust, Slayer and Taproot, and now I am sat next to this dude and he is doing our new album! This is the shit dreams are made of!" Sonic Syndicate is keeping a studio diary at Rockspot.se. Thanks for the report to Blabbermouth.net.
