Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor has told Andy Hall at the Des Moines, Iowa radio station Lazer 103.3 that the release date of the band's sophomore album, "Come What(ever) May", has been pushed up to August 1 from the previously announced August 22. However, a representative for the band's record label, Roadrunner Records, has told Blabbermouth.net that the release date remains August 22.

Come What(ever) May" at
this location. The CD was recorded at a Los Angeles studio with producer Nick Rasculinecz (Foo Fighters, Velvet Revolver) and marks the group's first effort since the departure of drummer Joel Ekman.
Stone Sour recently announced the addition of drummer Roy Mayorga (ex-Soulfly, most recently a touring member of Sepultura) as a full-fledged member of the group.
Stone Sour recently shot a video for the song "30/30-150" in Los Angeles with director Paul Brown (Mötley Crüe, Otep). A second clip ? for the track "Through Glass" ? is expected to be lensed during the coming weeks. A full-length MP3 of "30/30-150" will be made available for download on the Roadrunner web site when the clock strikes zero (around 11:59 p.m. Monday night / 12:00 a.m. Tuesday) on May 22.
