Stone Temple Pilots: Self-Titled LP Due In May

Stone Temple Pilots' first new album in nine years will now be released on May 25 via Atlantic Records.

The self-titled effort features the following track listing:

The band has rolled out a series of spring concerts that get underway with a March 18 performance at the annual SXSW music conference and festival in Austin, TX, and subsequent stops are scattered through late May.

Oh christ. So many bands have put out mediocre efforts as their self-titled albums lately... (Avenged Sevenfold, Killswitch Engage, etc). Let's hope this one's different!

But, in all seriousness, I LOVE STP and I would love for Weiland to finally stay sober at least for another album or 2.
