postmortem2006 :
Jame Murphy had a brain haemorrage or something didn't he? And he can''t remember anything about recording The Gathering or some crap like that.

But still, this record is gonna rule. Skolnick FTW!!

Whenever I hear the name Testament, the voice in my head sounds like God.

Chuck Billy = GOD.

Skolnick is easily one of the most underated guitarists out there. I'm very excited for this album.

But Testament wasn't Testament without Alex. James Murphy was probably better, and I like all the stuff after Alex left, but it just wasn't Testament to me. esp Demonic, but that was Glen Alvelais.

The new album should definitely kick some ass, even if it does have Paul Bostaph... too bad they couldn't get Tempesta or Lombardo back.

\m/ TESTAMENT \m/ I can't wait. I'm happy theres still some true thrash metal bands that are playing from their true roots. Oh, and Skolnick is an amazing guitarist... highly underrated. James Murphy is amazing too but we already have obituary for him, let Sklonick live in Testament.

Dude, Alex Skolnick is a guitar god! Nothing against James Murphy, but Alex was always an integral part of the way Testament sounds and it was weird without him.

Skolnick is the reason I started playing guitar donkey's years ago. Glad he's come to his senses and stopped cutting that ratshit jazz he was putting out.

Wow, that's funny, because i was thinking to myself the whole time Alex was in other projects and James was in the band "It just ain't the same without alex on guitar."

but really, Testament's best records were with alex on guitar.

Alex is the ****ing man! period! Billy/Peterson/Skolnick/Christian are gods of testament. I just wish they'd get Tempesta back on drums. I liked Louie Clemente back in the day, but Tempesta puts him to shame on the throne!

Sanitarium91 :
I'll probably check this out, cause I haven't heard any new TestamenT, apparently they've had "a few" line up changes, so it is probably completely different from the first two albums.
