With the kick-off to The Alternative Press tour right around the corner, co-headlining act The Academy Is has unveiled a new EP just in time for the three-month road trip.
"Lost In Pacific Time-The AP/EP" will hit digital retailers Sept. 22 and physical copies will be available exclusively at The Alternative Press Tour stops and via the Fueled by Ramen label website.
The Academy Is will share co-headlining duties with
Mayday Parade beginning Sept. 25 in Pontiac, MI. The extensive outing is slated to stop by clubs and theaters in 43 cities throughout the nation, with opening support provided by
Set Your Goals,
The Secret Handshake and
You Me At Six.
The forthcoming five-song EP follows the Chicago-based outfit's third studio set, "Fast Times At Barrington High," which surfaced last summer and debuted at No. 17 on The Billboard 200.
Now in its third year, the AP Tour - sponsored by the music publication of the same name - wrapped a spring run earlier this year featuring 3Oh!3, The Maine, Family Force 5, Hit The Lights and A Rocket To The Moon.
