Although they're known for their alternative sound, The Black Keys are going to dive into another genre.
According to Billboard.com, an upcoming album featuring the group and some of the biggest names in hip-hop will be released on November 27th.
Recorded under the name Blakroc, the Jim Jones idea will feature artists such as Mos Def, Q-Tip, RZA and Ludacris. Recording was done early this summer and so far only a teaser has been posted on Blakroc.com.

The band is off the road for the rest of the year but they have begun to work on their next studio album.
Dan Auerbach's solo project kicks off a tour on October 4th while Patrick Karney's side band Drummer hits the road on October 8th.
