The Killers have named their new album "Battle Born", it has been confirmed today.
"Battle Born" will be the Las Vegas bands fourth album, their first since "Day & Night" in 2008.
Speaking to Rolling Stone about the album title, lead singer Brandon Flowers said: "In a sense, all Americans are battle born. Our ancestors came here for something better."

Ronnie Vanucci added: "It's living up to its title. This is our difficult fourth record."
Song titles confirmed for the album, due out before the end of 2012, include: "Heart Of A Girl", "Flesh And Bone", "Carry Me Home" and "Runaways".
The Killers headline this year's V Festival alongside The Stone Roses, appearing in Stafford and Chelmsford on August 18-19.
