The Vandals have planned to record a new album sometime later this year or early in 2006. It will be the follow-up to last year's "Hollywood Potato Chip". The album is due out sometime in mid-2006 via Kung Fu Records. Recently, drummer Josh Freese has been busy trying to concentrate with bands like A Perfect Circle.
The Vandals' last album, "
Hollywood Potato Chip," has not been successful as any other albums like: "
Peace Thru Vandalism/When In Rome Do as the Vandals" (1989), "
Live Fast Diarrhea" (1994), "
The Quickening" (1996), and "
Hitler Bad, Vandals Good" (1999).
The Vandals have also planned a tour for next year.
However, no other announcments or statements have been confirmed yet.
