TRUSTcompany Plan New Album

Alabama rockers TRUSTcompany, who made a significant splash in active rock radio with songs such as "Downfall" and "Running From Me," disbanded a few months back. In lieu of the disbanding, Amity Lane was formed, comprised of vocalist/guitarist Kevin Palmer, his wife Layla, and bassist Josh Moates. Amity Lane released one album.

Now, TRUSTcompany have reformed with the original line-up, and have already played shows and are starting to record new material. Through the band's official mySpace, a bulletin was posted, announcing that two new tracks are up for streaming: "Something Perfect," and a 'new' track in the piano version of "Stronger," found on 2005's True Parallels.

No concrete indication has been given thus far regarding the band's third studio album.

a friend of mine thought these guys were awesome on the 1st album... only one song imo on that album stood up, and the 2nd album was just static. Maybe they'll finally be able to make a good album; I want to like them, but not until they make some good songs :\.

wow thats awesome! I was just listening them with my buddies and i totally overlooked them. I knew that one song on the radio was good, but I figured they would suck other than that. I was totally wrong though! Their awesome and I'm really glad their back!

doesn't it suck how the bands you don't really care about break up, and you rejoice, deep down knowing it's too good to be true, and bands like you like won't keep it together (or probably won't).

I can't wait for their third album (if they record one) and it would be awesome to see them live sometime. Amity Lane sucked.

When you can write music as good as them and sell hundreds of thousands of albums... then, and only then, can you come in here and talk shit about a band!

Seriously, what's peoples problems with TRUSTcompany? They're possibly one of the greatest bands I've heard, especially on The Lonely Position of Neutral.


I have a feeling Jeffray doesn't like them because they don't play the same music as every other band. They were and probably still will be a very unique band that other bans will find very hard to match.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of half the bands people rave over today (Rammstien is my biggest beef. I really can't understand how anyone can possibly like them, except maybe the Germans themselves.) and would LOVE to see a band like TRUST company come back, just as they were.
