U2 Reveal New Album Tracklisting

U2 have revealed the tracklisting and artwork for their highly anticipated forthcoming album, "No Line On The Horizon".

The album features 11 tracks including "Magnificent", "Unknown Caller" and the album's first single, "Get On Your Boots", which is set to be released digitally on February 15 and physically on February 16.

The album's cover artwork features a gray-toned image of two lines on the horizon where the sea meets the sky, created by Japanese artist and photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto.

It will be released in a standard format with 24-page booklet, as well as in a "digipak" format, which includes an extended booklet and the album’s companion film "Linear" by Anton Corbijn, as previously reported.

"No Line On The Horizon" is due out on March 2 in the UK and a day later in the US.

I've been impressed with every album u2 have ever released. possibly the most under-rated band ever. and for there to be so many haters of them... i just dont get it. watch zoo tv and you will realise how incredible this band is, and how amazingly talented they are.

I find it so good because of some of the latter songs of the album such as 'crumbs from your table' and 'original of the species'. Those are very special songs and there is no denying it.

I dont have a big problem with U2 but 'The edge' or whatever his name is really gets on my tits when he says he's one of the greatest guitarists ever... In my books 'the edge' doesnt rank anywhere near Hendrix, Clapton, Satch or any of the 100's of other greats guitarists.
He just writes simple songs and simply makes lots of money...like james blunt.

When U2 started out they released some incredible albums ... Joshua Tree and War are two of the best rock albums of the 80s. But one of the reasons U2 has such big international appeal and a wide fan base is because theyre a dynamic band. Every album they put out sounds different from the last one. Some of their stuff in the mid 90s sucked, but theyre definetly coming back. As for The Edge, I think people take him a little too critically. Edge hasn't written any legendary solos like Hendrix or Paige and he writes simple riffs, but the way he layers them and uses fx show he has talent for making the guitar sound good, and not just have people think he's a guitar god because he can play voodoo child with his teeth.

And even though it is way beyond his control and he doesn't have nearly that much influence, Bono IS trying to save the world, but somebody has to.

I'm excited for the new album.

Agreed. Some of their early stuff is kinda good. 'sunday bloody sunday' is a brilliatn song, but not because of the guitar, if anything, it needs more guitar work.

For all you U2 haters...SHUT THE FUCK UP! I agree with the other comments I saw on here about the South Park episode making fun of Bono and that song Vertigo which is one of U2's poorest songs they ever made (Yea yea yea yeaaaaahh!). Yes I saw the episode and thought it was funny as hell but U2 is one of the best bands EVER hands down! Can't wait for this upcoming CD!
