Weezer announced the tracklisting for their dictionary-defying new album Raditude on their official website. As you’d expect from a band that put a crazed airborne dog on its album cover, the track list for the October 27th LP features its share of audacious song titles.
As with last year’s Weezer the 3rd, (or The Red Album), the album will be available both in a standard and a deluxe edition. The deluxe edition will tack on four extra tracks, which, as those of you who purchased the deluxe Red can attest, may represent some of the best songs on the album. Plus, when purchased on iTunes, Raditude will be accompanied by another bonus song called "The Story of My Life." Pre-ordering on the digital music service will secure you Weezer’s mash-up of MGMT’s "Kids" and Lady Gaga’s "Poker Face."
Check out the Rad track list below:
Raditude:
01. (If You’re Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To
02. I’m Your Daddy
03. The Girl Got Hot
04. Can’t Stop Partying
05. Put Me Back Together
06. Trippin’ Down The Freeway
07. Love Is the Answer
08. Let It All Hang Out
09. In The Mall
10. I Don’t Want To Let You Go
(11. The Story Of My Life – iTunes bonus)
(12. Kids/Poker Face – iTunes pre-order bonus)
Deluxe Raditude:
11. Get Me Some
12. Run Over By A Truck
13. The Prettiest Girl In the Whole Wide World
14. The Underdogs
(15. The Story Of My Life – iTunes bonus)
(16. Kids/Poker Face – iTunes pre-order bonus)
Thanks for the report to RollingStone.com.

: Can't stop partying was on the last rivers home demos and was pretty good. Lead single isn't bad too. I just wonder if they'll have a big rock guitar song like pork n' beansPOSTED: 09/21/2009 - 12:59 pm / quote |

: Weezer seems to be getting a clue, stylistically. The Red Album had some great after-release hype merely because it didn't entirely suck & meander in meaningless single trash (Beverley Hills from Make Believe, ugh...), & had the classic one color album cover.
This one has an almost cheesy 90's title ( "Raditude"), & one of the best album covers of all time. If the singles are remotely better on par with anything from the red album, dare I say Weezer might have a quiet comeback on their hands. POSTED: 09/21/2009 - 01:28 pm / quote |

: I hope it isn't. Kids is a terrible song.
The Red Album was so bad. I hope this is a step up. I just heard If You're Wondering...and I didn't like it.POSTED: 09/21/2009 - 05:26 pm / quote |

: Let's hope they get the rebound on this one. A lot of it is co-written and some of it gets kind of lame, but old classic unreleased tracks hardcore Weezer fans only dream of (i.e. Prettiest Girl ITHWW) from eras where the Cuomo crew was at their finest could turn this album around. I know I'm getting my hands on deluxe edition. Let's just hope they retain the epic cover for the deluxe version as opposed to changing it around or putting a banner over it or something. I WANT THAT COVER. haha.POSTED: 09/21/2009 - 05:27 pm / quote |

Yes it is. They've played it live a few times. There is a Lady Gaga song in there too.
Rivers went batshit insane around 12 years ago, but this album could be interesting, I guess.POSTED: 09/21/2009 - 05:43 pm / quote |

No, they're just having fun for once. Rivers has opened up and become a lot more confident since their early days. I like their new stuff and old stuff, both for different reasons. POSTED: 09/21/2009 - 09:03 pm / quote |

but i dont want rivers to be more confident! what made him endearing was his ineptitude and total awkwardness. with rick rubins slick veneer of "confidence" on there last album, i cant believe for the first time in my life i cant stomach the thought of a new weezer album
however, the cover IS epic win POSTED: 09/21/2009 - 10:30 pm / quote |

Well Rubin is gone this time. Jacknife Lee and Butch Walker produced the new album. Lee and Rubin both produced Red Album, which I thought was pretty good. Rubin produced Make Believe by himself and I was disappointed.
So hopefully the good stuff from Red was due to Lee, and the new album will be even better with Rubin totally gone. POSTED: 09/21/2009 - 11:21 pm / quote |

I agree. Make Believe has a lot of good songs, people just don't like the fact that it doesn't maintain the exact same style as all the previous records.POSTED: 09/22/2009 - 07:59 am / quote |

: Blue and Pinkerton are miles better than any other Weezer album, although I enjoy them all. The Homie stuff is awesome too. Hopefully Raditude could be decent though.POSTED: 09/22/2009 - 09:17 am / quote |

: Brian Bell (guitarist of Weezer) said this album will "return to the rock element." I think he also said it was a mixture of The Blue Album, Pinkerton, and Maladroit.
Sounds EPIC!!!!!POSTED: 10/03/2009 - 09:04 pm / quote |
