Even with the release of an upcoming record, Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo still has spare time to kill.
In a recent interview with Buzznet, Cuomo revealed he will be collaborating with pop singer Katy Perry in the near future.
"We're writing together next week," he said. "Can't wait!"
Cuomo revealed the collaboration will take place in a recording studio as he will be helping Perry write and possibly record new material for her new album.
Working with
Perry shouldn't come as a surprise as
Rolling Stone reported earlier that
Weezer's new album will feature a handful of guests.
Along with being produced by hip hop artist Jermaine Dupri, the record will have appearances by Lil Wayne and The All-American Rejects' Tyler Ritter.
