Minnesota based progressive extreme metal pioneers, After The Burial, embark on the biggest tour of their already impressive career this week joining up with As I Lay Dying and Winds of Plague. This much anticipated, massive North American trek starts on Feb. 12th and wraps up on March 18th, so be sure to either see below or visit www.facebook.com/aftertheburial now to view their entire tour itinerary. Justin Lowe and Trent Hafdahl have teamed up with Guitar World to exclusively present a very in-depth instructional guitar lesson series, which can be accessed at this page. In this video the guys breakdown and explain how to perform various riffs and sections from their new In Dreams album while showcasing their intriguing and unique songwriting dynamic. Hafdahl also recently spoke at length with Revolver Magazine about the upcoming tour and his thoughts on their new album. Check out this interesting chat at this link. An uninhibited seven and eight-stringed dual barrage of frenetic riffs and dynamic chord progression is exactly what After The Burial delivers with pinpoint precision. The highly acclaimed new album, In Dreams, is now available everywhere and is quickly going to raise the bar for all others within the metal genre. This new offering is going to redefine the genre and position this band as the forerunners of the new extreme progressive movement. AFTER THE BURIAL /As I Lay Dying, Winds of Plague 2/12 Ft.
