AEnima18 :
Yep I agree too. Not only is their music superior, they influenced the next generation of bands, which included Kid Rock.

How come Kid Rock is famous?
I've seriously never heard of anyone liking him(them?) or even speaking of anything remotly positive with them in same sentence.

kid rock doesn't come of to me as a performing artist. Hes like a MC who usually fights strippers. what a disgrace that this fool isnt supporting AIC instead. Who the hell even listens to kid rock,he has absolutly no appeal as an artist.

kurtshapedbox :
Alice in Chains probably just realize that if they play before Kid Rock they can leave before they have to hear any of his crappy "music."

"Nobody's sitting here who wants to, in any way, disrespect or sully that legacy."

Sully from Alicesmack should take note of this accidental pun and go learn how to write something original.

... To be honest, Alice in Chains should just not support Kid Rpck in general. Kid Rock and Alice is like peanuts and bananas... they are completely different and don't belong together.

Dragon Master :
Kid Rock should be on his bended knees, asking to even play with Alice in Chains.

haha nice pick up.

I already have tickets for this show. I'm kind of surprised that no one said anything about Cypress Hill yet. I'm going more for them and AIC than kid rock, but I might stay for him for a little bit.

What a bunch of whiney bitches. Seriously. "Wah, wah, why is kid rock famous!? WHY?!?!" Get over yourselves.

Anyways, this is likely to be a fantastic show. Kid Rock usually puts on an awesome performance and Alice in Chains is pretty awesome live. Combining the two is going to be a great show. I am very happy to have tickets.

^^^ That's good and all, but wouldn't you rather see a bigger Alice in Chains set, with them headlining?

Also, kurtshapedbox, when I saw "sully" I too immediately thought "Godsmack!". Godsmack are alright in my opinion, and it's great that they were inspired by Alice in Chains.

I agree Kid Rock and AIC are different, and I enjoy AIC much more... Not everyone can like everything... The most important thing is that this band is finally on the road again, I hope alot more shows are being planned.
