Swedish melodic death metallers Amon Amarth have announced that they will be returning to North America for another leg of their "An Evening With Amon Amarth" tour this August.
A statement on the band’s official website reads: "Yes, it is true! We are coming back to tour North America. The spring tour turned out to be so successful, and we had such a great time playing the double sets each night, that we decided to bring ‘An Evening with Amon Amarth’ to the rest of the continent, including Canada! We will perform the new album in its entirety, and after that we’re doing a revised second set with all the classics as well as some ‘wild-cards’."
As with the first leg of the tour this past April, Amon Amarth will not have any opening acts, and will instead play two full sets, totalling roughly two and a half hours of heavy metal. Tickets go on sale May 19th, check with your local venue for details.
