Anti-Flag are dorks. Who in the hell markets themselves politically, while they make their sound 'poppier' to appeal to a broader (read: younger) audience!? Great, now we have a bunch of kinds under voting age who think Bush is a moron, because Anti-Flag do. Good job! He'll be out of office by the time they can vote anyway. Don't get me wrong, Bush is a dork, but come on man!

yeah, ignoring the problem altogether is a lot better than getting of your ass and trying to do something about it.

If you had heard the song you'd realise it has nothing to do with ignoring the problem. On their Death Of A Nation dvd their interview was making up funny song names and that came up.
Too bad they aren't coming to Vegas once again.

i'm sorry, you're right. they don't ignore the problem, they just state the problem and then deliver standard cliche psuedo-anarchist bullshit without offering any real solutions. jesus, what, now as long as you have a mohawk you're doing your part to change society?! if you go to a show and mosh to the same punker boiler plate, you're taking some kind of initiative?! it's just as bad as thinking you're saving lives by shopping at the gap because there new motto is "peace and love". why don't you actually try DOING SOMETHING.

Considering they're one of the only bands that really do anything to help change something. They're out protesting, doing public speeches, and other things to actually try to make a difference. Its fine if you don't like them but to say that they do nothing to help their cause is just false. If anything they have more socialist beliefs then full out anarchist.

I remember these guys from when I went to Pitt. They reminded me of Green Day then, and still do. I hate Green Day. Punk died a long time ago.

punk died as soon as it was called punk, it's quite silly really.

hmm...well, i've thought about it, and if there's one thing i pride myself on, it's admitting when i'm wrong. it is true that anit-flag probably does take much more action than most bands do, and i was wrong to place them in the category i did. i suppose it bugs me that more punk bands don't do less bitching and more fixing.
