Oh, and Metal > you. |
You may have the money and weather, but you don't have the chicks.
Metal and punk are totally different and both are great, and a punk band would play a show in the south, try and get whatever they're saying out. And a band like Bad Religion could do that in the south, considering how religious the south tends to be.POSTED: 08/13/2008 - 02:10 pm / quote |

: metal hasn't sold since black sabbath.

On topic, however: interesting title. The Killers are somewhat hit or miss for me, but generally I like what they are trying to do.
Their singer gets also props for realizing how important Bowie is (mainstream typically holds a vaugley general acknowledgment past Ziggy Stardust, stupid VH1.. :grumble grumble: ), & vocally admitting that he tries to put a good impression to the legend with his band.POSTED: 08/13/2008 - 03:40 pm / quote |

: OOOH PEOPLE FROM CALI HAVE MORE MONEY!! HOLY SHIT! no really, the rest of the world gives a shit. and the band members that are in those "awesome bands" that come from cali arent from cali themselves, they've actually lived in the real world. and the sooner california drops to the bottom of the ocean the better the world will be so you can take you money, your fake chicks, your paris hiltons, limos, scientology, celebrities, and your shitty "hot and sunny everyday" weather and shove em up your asses btw hot and sticky weather is better? what are yall, lizards?POSTED: 08/13/2008 - 10:19 pm / quote |
