will eventually perform in America, despite their recent European tour being rebranded Ozzy + Friends
revealed the US-friendly news to VH1
"They're gonna be doing one show in America this summer but I can't say yet because we can't announce it, the promoters have to, but they are doing one show in August here together,
" she said.
But if the show uses the proper Black Sabbath title, does that mean drummer Bill Ward
has signed back on?
"We don't know yet, we really don't know. It's up to Bill,
" she said. "The door is open for him to join us, so it's up to him.
In January, Ward revealed that he was unhappy with his contract and wouldn't sign until he was offered a deal that respected his role as an original Sabbath member. Negotiations between their lawyers continue.
Meanwhile, the remaining members are working on their new album in the UK while guitarist Tony Iommi
receives cancer treatment.
"It's going good,
" Sharon said of the recording. "They're doing really well in the studio. Gosh, they must've written 15 new songs already and it's going great.
The full Black Sabbath reunion may have proven too good to be true, but fans will be in for quite a show when Slash
and Zack Wylde
joins Ozzy + Friends at festival dates across Europe.
