Blur Confirm BRIT Awards 2012 Performance

Oasis rivals and Britpop legends Blur have announced that they will reunite again on stage at the upcoming BRIT Awards.

According to the Daily Express, bass player Alex James (now a leading U.K. food critic) told radio station XFM: "We’re going to play, which is brilliant; it’s like putting the Blues Brothers back together."

He even hinted at a future tour. "Well, let’s hope – heritage year next year. [Would] be good wouldn’t it?"

Aside from taking to the stage for the show, Blur will pick up the Outstanding Contribution to Music trophy at the 2012 BRIT Awards in London.

For a sec I thought it said Oasis were going to reunite also. But can't wait for Blur. I hope they don't block it in my country.
