Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine has posted the following message in the "Forums" section of the band's official web site: "It is my privilege to introduce to you the next confirmed act to the mighty Gigantour festival! Playing in the fourth spot on second stage? Drum roll please.... Bobaflex!

Based out of
West Virginia,
Bobaflex recently signed a multi-album deal with
TVT Records. The band will release their sophomore full-length effort, entitled "
Bright Red Violent Sex", this summer. The follow-up to "
Primitive Epic" (
Eclipse Records) is expected to include the track "
The Guardian", which the band apparently wrote in in honor of Columbus police officer
James D. Niggemeyer (
Niggemeyer is widely credited for saving lives on Dec. 8, 2004 when he entered the Alrosa Villa club without backup and killed a crazed gunman responsible for blowing away four people, including former
Pantera guitarist "
Dimebag"
Darrell Abbott).
