29th of October Deathstars entered Metrosonic Recording Studios in NYC to begin the recording of their new album to be released in spring 2008. This album will start another chapter in their history of vanity, darkness, blood and sleaze.
The recording sessions will continue throughout November and December and the mix is set for January so get prepared for a 2008 filled with exploding Deathglam! Watch some clips from their studio sessions here.
In other news, the bands drummer Bone W Machine made the following announcement concerning the band's European support tour for Korn: "I am sad to announce that I will not partake in the upcoming European tour with Korn.
"Personal reasons are the main issue in this case and this is more important to me right now then a tour. I hope you all understand this and dont throw a EMO fit. The drums will not suffer though since the extremly competent Snowy Shaw will be whipping skins and breaking sticks in my abcense. And no, I am not leaving the band."
