Fall Out Boy Announce 2009 UK Tour

Fall Out Boy have announced a UK arena tour for Spring next year.

The band's 2009 tour only consists of four shows, but fans will be able to see Pete Wentz and Co. in Manchester, London, Cardiff and Brighton.

Tickets will be going on sale next Friday (December 6th) at 9am. You'll be able to buy yours through us when they go on sale.

Before the year is over, Fall Out Boy release new album "Folie A Deux" on December 16th.

March Tour Dates 2009:

Manchester, MEN Arena – 5
London, O2 Arena – 6
Cardiff, CIA – 7
Brighton, Brighton Centre - 8

I hate that. I like Fall Out Boy but I hate it when it's made to look like Pete is the most amazing band member.

I would love to go to one of those shows though.

Thats funny because Pete isn't even the singer is he? Usually when that Pete and co label is stated in an article it seems to be about the Singer and Co. Correct me if I r wrong

pete wentz and co. thats a pretty accurate label by now. i bet u he puts his bass down and tries to take centre stage and perform lead vocals on at least one of the songs like he often does.

I agree ... I also think this is one of the reasons people dislike fall out boy, which is too bad , since their music is pretty good.. but I don't think i would go to their concerts

i agree with Thepoison92, it is annoying. but darn. too bad i'm not in the UK. everytime they come here, they come to the largest venue in my state, which really sucks since tickets go like miley cirus seats. and the only ones available are the EXTREMELY obstructed views.
i'd gladly see them if they came back and did a smaller venue, but they are too big for me to see a show of theirs.

Actually, he owns/'borrows' Decaydance records which is an imprint of FBR. He has some of the most popular pop/punk/emo/whatever acts of today on there.

I'm going to the Brighton and London ones. Call me sad, but I'm really excited. I saw them at Wembley, and while the instruments didn't sound the best ever, I was having so much fun that I didn't really care.

Saw them last month. Defintely the worst gig I was ever at. They were on for 1 hour, including an encore. Absolutely shite band

Funny though, most people would be annoyed if an article said "Singer & Co.", at least they're different, even if Pete isn't the best in the band.

Also, disappointed to not see a Scotland date, they should know they've got fans up here as well!

but i respect them. what i hate the most is however like many people say its pete wentz who gets all the glory when he is a crap bassist.

i would actually like it better if they said about patrick stump as he is such a more talented member then pete wentz.

yes, while i hate them, i have to admit they are definitely not emo.

also pete wentz is the main reason anybody actually cares about fallout boy. they only got really popular after 16 year old girls decided they all wanted to marry him. and then we all noticed them and made our opinions.
