Pete Wentz and Co.

I hate that. I like Fall Out Boy but I hate it when it's made to look like Pete is the most amazing band member.

I would love to go to one of those shows though.

Thats funny because Pete isn't even the singer is he? Usually when that Pete and co label is stated in an article it seems to be about the Singer and Co. Correct me if I r wrong

1. No Fall Out Boy flaming. You should REALLY have got the picture by now.

2. I might go to this, but I HATE the 02 Arena, so maybe not.

pete wentz and co. thats a pretty accurate label by now. i bet u he puts his bass down and tries to take centre stage and perform lead vocals on at least one of the songs like he often does.

I agree ... I also think this is one of the reasons people dislike fall out boy, which is too bad , since their music is pretty good.. but I don't think i would go to their concerts

I can understand the whole Pete Wentz and co thing though. He owns the record label fuelled by ramen, is their spokesman and contributes to most of the lyrics.

Sad to say but wihout him they probably wouldn't be where there are today. All of them are incredibly talented soo all this bullshit about them being shit is completely false.

If you dont like them shut the hell up no one wants to hear you whine.

i agree with Thepoison92, it is annoying. but darn. too bad i'm not in the UK. everytime they come here, they come to the largest venue in my state, which really sucks since tickets go like miley cirus seats. and the only ones available are the EXTREMELY obstructed views.
i'd gladly see them if they came back and did a smaller venue, but they are too big for me to see a show of theirs.

Actually, he owns/'borrows' Decaydance records which is an imprint of FBR. He has some of the most popular pop/punk/emo/whatever acts of today on there.

If it takes a bassist to make a band famous then I have just lost all faith in humanity.

I'm going to the Brighton and London ones. Call me sad, but I'm really excited. I saw them at Wembley, and while the instruments didn't sound the best ever, I was having so much fun that I didn't really care.

He's also the lyricist. And there's way more to making a band famous than just riffs.

Saw them last month. Defintely the worst gig I was ever at. They were on for 1 hour, including an encore. Absolutely shite band

"Before the year is over, Fall Out Boy release new album Folie A Deux on December 16th."

I was gonna talk about the "Pete and Co." thing, but since everyone else did I decided to point out yet another grammer mistake by UG.

Just to echo what duncang said: Fall Out Boy bashing will not be allowed here and you will receive a warning if you participate in it.

Am I the only one who thinks this band swam up shit creek after FOTCT?
That aside, a once awesome band ruined by the doucheyness that is pete wentz.

Funny though, most people would be annoyed if an article said "Singer & Co.", at least they're different, even if Pete isn't the best in the band.

Also, disappointed to not see a Scotland date, they should know they've got fans up here as well!

I love Fall Out Boy (minus Pete) but only four dates?? Seriously?? Not much of a "tour".

In the words of Jordan from New Found Glory at their Southampton show last Wednesday: "I look like Pete Wentz, but I'm not 'cause I don't pretend to play bass"

Srsly, I love all the band members but they use pete's name in most things because he is the most known. If someone said Andu Hurley and co. people would say "Huh? What band is he from?"

Sad to say but wihout him they probably wouldn't be where there are today. All of them are incredibly talented soo all this bullshit about them being shit is completely false.

i have to say i hate fall out boy

but i respect them. what i hate the most is however like many people say its pete wentz who gets all the glory when he is a crap bassist.

i would actually like it better if they said about patrick stump as he is such a more talented member then pete wentz.
please stop gloryfying a complete tw*t and give patrick stump some recognition for once as he feckin deserves it.

rant over

anyway to all the fob fans, enjoy

I was walking to a rehearsal the other day, with my bass over my shoulder cos I don't have a case. I feel really cool cos it's a nice hollow body ES335 copy, and people always stop and stare. But anyway, these emo lassies came over and said "hey are you in a band?" and I said yes, and I noticed two of them were wearing FOB t-shirts, then one of them said "omg you play bass like pete wentz!?" and I said "no, stupid bitch, this is a mandolin" and she believed me, lol dumbass

Wait, what? Pete Wentz and Co.? Is Pete still hogging the spotlight? Fall out Boy aren't that band of a band, in comparison to some other mainstream bands, but really...who refers to a band as "Bass player and co."?

yes, while i hate them, i have to admit they are definitely not emo.

also pete wentz is the main reason anybody actually cares about fallout boy. they only got really popular after 16 year old girls decided they all wanted to marry him. and then we all noticed them and made our opinions.
