Fall Out Boy To Play In Antarctica

Fall Out Boy are set to break a world-record, when they will play a show at a scientific colony on March 25.

The band will make the journey to Antarctica with Greenpeace and will bring a crew to film the trek in order to document the impact of global warming.

A certified recorder from the Guinness Book Of World Records will also be present to record the ground-breaking event.

No further details have been made available, but Pete Wentz himself confirmed the event on his blog at the weekend with a promise to unveil more details soon.

The problem with Global Warming and Al Gore was that he took percentages and blew them up a few points... and if you know anything about the "affects" of global warming, then you'll realize that it takes some serious forces to raise Earth's temperature by a single degree.

Gore stated that the Earth was heating up close to 5-7degrees each year... we'd be dying at that rate right now with an intense heat increase of that magnitude. The only thing, if that were true, it would actually mean, is that the sun exploded and the shockwave is only a few minutes away.

Global Warming is not caused by some aerosol canisters being used... but yet, they do "eat away" certain chemical portions of the Ozone, on the bottom layer, the layers furthest away from the sun, which actually block the UV rays and keep the Earth "insulated."

@Fall Out Boy playing Antarctica: Wow... they steeped really low for this. I guess they just want all the media attention they can get. I mean, do they realize that not many people like them? Global warming is happening to an extent, but not for the reasons people think or at the rate they think... if you look back at the earths long history, the temperature has greatly increased and decreased over its history. Its naturally doing this. I mean yea gases are tearing up the ozone layer but its not causing global warming as much as they say!

Global Warming is not caused by some aerosol canisters being used... but yet, they do "eat away" certain chemical portions of the Ozone, on the bottom layer, the layers furthest away from the sun, which actually block the UV rays and keep the Earth "insulated."

yep. Gore used lots of stats that were intially true, like air and water contamination doing slight damage to the atomsphere. and global warming is real. It is real subtle, like .07 degrees each year. The cause is from other sources though.

that was near the arctic.. greenland. leto says so right before the vid starts. the arctic is the opposite pole (north) of the antarctic (south). greenland is around the same latitude as europe...

the thing is you wont be remembered, cuz no one knows who the hell you are. Anyhoo, its good publicity, like there 3 city tour in one day, NY, Chicago and LA, thats pretty impressive. However if you look further than your own shores you will see the proof. The Australian coral reef is bleaching because the water is now too warm. I'm having a summer (in Autumn) in New Zealand with an average temp like 3 degrees more than normal. Queensland, Australia, finally broke a drought after 13 years... with a flood. Greenland is MELTING and the seas have risen half a metre in the last few years. All facts, if you n00bs actually researched a little before joining the "GLOBAL WARMING IS FAKE!!!" band wagon.
