Feeder Announce Intimate UK Tour

Feeder have set up their own record labe in a bid to "control their own destiny".

The band’s first release on Big Teeth Music will be an EP entitled, "Renegades".

Meanwhile, Feeder have also announced details of a brief UK tour, which gets underway in Glasgow on January 25.

The jaunt also includes three dates in London. Fans who purchase advance tickets will receive a copy of the limited edition EP and an exclusive "Renegades" T-Shirt.

Feeder's UK dates are:

01/25 - Glasgow, King Tuts
01/26 - Manchester, Ruby Lounge
01/28 - Birmingham, Academy 3
01/29 - London, Water Rats
02/04 - London, Lexington
02/08 - London, Hoxton Bar & Grill

I thought that Feeder had put together a little side project that was called 'Renegades', who would be releasing a EP and going on a little tour. And then later in the year, they'd make another album under the name 'Feeder' again. Am I wrong?

You're exactly right - they're playing under the name Renegades for this tour and only playing new material, then releasing a new Feeder album later this year. That's what I've heard anyway.

yeah i guess, but considering these are all pretty small clubs its down to the hardcore Feeder fans !

yea its small clubs so they should be charging like £15 at most, small clubs = cheap to rent so feeder will me making an absolute killing out of this

£35 is too much for me (though it was originally rumoured the tickets would be £50!). At least it comes with a tshirt, badge set and a 4 song cd, albeit with two songs already released as free downloads.
That said, in a few months you could probably sell the cd on ebay to some looney (me probably) and get a good chunk of the money back, seeing as it will be quite a rare item.

In ireland we're regularly ripped off for concerts, tickets worth 60 euro are the norm for big acts.

you should! Most famous track is Buck Rogers - early stuff with the first drummer was epic modern rock, then the drummer hung himself (tragic, he was brilliant) and as a result the music became more melodic and lost some fans, now they are getting slowly back towards their heavier roots. Very talented band, and awesome live.

They're not my favourite band but I'd be tempted to see them at King Tut's; that place is excellent.
