Foo Fighters To Perform At Grammy Awards

The Foo Fighters are among the first list of performers announced for the 54th Grammy Awards in February.

The Foos are nominated for six (6) Grammys, including Album Of The Year and Best Rock Album for "Wasting Light"; Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song for "Walk"; Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for "White Limo"; and Best Long Form Music Video for "Foo Fighters: Back And Forth".

Joining the rockers in the first batch of performer confirmations are Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj, and Taylor Swift.

Additional performers, presenters and special segments will be announced soon.

The 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast by CBS on Sunday, February 12 at 8:00 PM EST from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

It's sad to me that a Foo Fighters performance might not only be the best thing to watch on that night, practically a year-in-review for popular music, but they are likely to be the only thing remotely worth the time spent watching.

And I bet they are the only rock band going to be preforming too. Doesn't matter, wouldn't want anything else.

After Wasting Light, the Back and Forth documentary and their recent tour (which I went to) they deserve to win a Grammy or two.
