Foo Fighters To Play Rock The Vote
Foo Fighters are set to play a Rock The Vote show in Charlotte, North Carolina on September 5. Despite Dave Grohl telling the crowd at Reading Festival on Sunday (August 26) that their headline set would be their "last show for a long time", the rockers will now appear at the event, which is taking part alongside the Democratic National Convention. The Rock The Vote organisation is a non-partisan group which encourages young people in the United States to vote and become politically active. Foo Fighters will also play Atlanta's Midtown Music Festival on September 21, the DeLuna Fest in Pensacola Beach, Florida on September 22 and Global Festival in Central Park in New York on September 29, according to Billboard. Thanks for the report to NME.
