Good Extends Tour

artist: matthew good date: 10/18/2004 category: upcoming tours

ChartAttack reports: The Tragically Hip have been known for promoting Canadian talent by taking all kinds of bands on the road with them. The Kingston boys have toured with Hayden, Rheostatics, Sam Roberts and more recently, The Joel Plaskett Emergency, all name acts in their own right.

Matthew Good has always been one to do the same. He's gotten bigger, so he's made sure to bring his fellow Canucks along for the ride.

Good's current Put Out Your Lights tour finds him on tour with Limblifter and now with the recently added Melissa Auf Der Maur, who has been no stranger to touring this year. She joins Good after the big Curiosa festival and having her own tour with The Von Bondies.

So, Matthew Good wll be spending a lot of time across Ontario, but look for the new listings in Fredericton, Antigonish, St. John's, Halifax and Charlottetown.

AvixK7 :
Canadian artist. Was formerly frontman of the Matthew Good Band, but they split. Check out their stuff first, anything off Beautiful Midnight and Underdogs give you a pretty good idea. Next, get Avalanche. Incredible album. That's post-Matthew Good Band, first solo album. Awesome. Must be listened to from start to finish. Can't say enough about it (obviously). Newest album is "White Light Rock & Roll Review". Can't wait to hear it live. Once again, he does not dissapoint. So, recommendations:

- MGB: - Everything is Automatic
..- Apparitions
