Guns N' Roses Postpone Shows, Get 'Fan' Kicked Out Of Concert

According to a posting on the Guns N' Roses fan site Here Today... Gone to Hell!, Guns N' Roses has postponed the U.S. dates that were to take place between September 27 and October 5. The dates have been moved to fit into the main body of the tour, which starts on October 20 in Jacksonville, FL at the Veterans Memorial Arena, reports Blabbermouth.net.

The rescheduled dates will take place later this year or early next year (depending on show). The shows with new rescheduled dates known so far are as follows:

Fresno, CA @ Save Mart Center: September 27 -> December 13

Bakersfield, CA @ Rabobank Arena Theater and Convention Center: September 29 -> January 11

Reno, NV @ Reno Events Center: September 30 -> January 13

Sacramento, CA @ ARCO Arena: October 2 -> January 10

Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose has been saying that the band's long-delayed new album, "Chinese Democracy", will be out later this year.

In related news, a video clip of Rose stopping the band's performance halfway through the song "Sweet Child O' Mine" on Thursday, September 21 at the Warfield in San Francisco in order to have an unruly "fan" removed from the premises has been posted online at YouTube.com.

Axl says they're gonna release the album this year, I do truely believe them. They haven't toured for four years, that is enough time to have the album almost complete.

Axl should come on stage at a normal time. I saw them at Wembley in August, he came on at 11 instead of 9.30 and people were fighting down the front because of the wait. It's partly Axl's fault that people fight at his gigs because he comes on so damn late.

Someone said it right though up there. This "GNR" is totally a cover band. Velvet Revolver is the closest thing you're going to get to GNR anymore. IMO a little better, I'm way more of a Weiland fan than a Rose fan.

Axl Rose didn't **** up guns n roses... Slash and Duff did when they got into heavy drugs and drinking. Thats why Axl wanted ownership of the name so he could assure a Guns n roses future beyond them.

and name aside...Axl's new songs are more original and more GnR like then anything Velvet revolver has put out.

Velvet revolver just sounds like vh1 5olcock am wake up rock. I like some of their stuff, but their not as good or original as they were when they were in GnR. All they have is their image now and their redundant music.

i hate axl rose...but im not gonna lie..i did laugh a little when i watched the video on youtube...if he didnt do that every other show he played it probably would have been more enjoyable.

What annoys me about this whole "we dont care, its not worth being front page news" thing you've all got coming on is that, for something so "uninteresting," theres over four PAGES of comments here. If you don't find this interesting, don't comment on it.
Oh, and I assure you, people will buy the next album. GnR are way too popular for people not to, "new band" or no.

gnr are not a cover band. axl wrote most of the songs how can he be covering them + theyve played new songs live

i believe the fact remains that the band is completely different now, and Axl is just trying to push out another GnR-sounding album.

VR, as some people say, hasnt really ever sounded like GnR. its a new band, so not shit: theyre gonna make different music.

my main point is axl is a dick. horrid voice, huge ego--thinks the world revolves around him--, biggest ******* in rock, in what is now a cheesy and fake band, and a wuss. this new album has been built up so much and delayed so long that everyone will be disappointed when it comes out... unless its like divine material. which i am 100% sure it will not be.
