Hoobastank take to the road next month for a five-week run on the club and theater circuit that supports the group's latest album, "Every Man For Himself."
The outing launches November 15 in Spartanburg, SC, and more than two-dozen shows are stacked up, with a December 22 finale scheduled in Los Angeles.
Released in May, "Every Man For Himself," features the singles "If I Were You," "Inside of You" and "Born to Lead." All three of those cuts, as well as a fourth titled "Don't Tell Me," are streaming at Hoobastank's MySpace page.
The album also includes "More Than A Memory," a cut that features flutes, accordion, chimes and trumpets.
"I was listening to a lot of Pink Floyd at the time, especially The Wall," guitarist Dan Estrin said in statement. "I like albums, and songs, that take you on a journey, that almost come across as a movie. And that song definitely does--it's like Floyd, The Beatles, and even tails off like 'Sir Psycho Sexy,' that old Red Hot Chili Peppers song. I just like applying lessons from bands I admire."

umm, wtf, i was at that show, and hooba really f**kin stank. the music wasn't the problem, it was this lame attempt to be some energetic band, Weiland and Slash were the only band that night in my opinion, even that pre pre pre unsigned band was better than them.
the dude from hoobastank tried to bad mouth scott weiland, now, he is playing the Ritual in Levittown (for those with a degree in long island vocabulary, this is even a step down from mucahey'sPOSTED: 10/30/2006 - 07:18 pm / quote |
