Incubus Hits Amphitheaters Behind 'Melodies'

Incubus will scour the US this summer in support of its forthcoming greatest-hits album, "Monuments And Melodies."

The alt-rockers will kick off the outing July 9 in Chula Vista, CA, and work their way east before working their way back to Phoenix for the tour's Aug. 25 finale. The 28-city trek also includes a two-night stand Aug. 4-5 at New York City's Radio City Music Hall and a July 30 appearance in Toronto.

The multi-platinum group will release "Monuments And Melodies" June 16. The two-disc compilation of greatest hits and rarities features two new tracks, "Black Heart Inertia" and "Midnight Swim," as well as a cover of Prince's "Let's Go Crazy."

Fans who pre-order the record at the band's website will qualify for exclusive pre-sale ticketing for a live show in the city of their choice.

Incubus' most recent album of new material, 2006's "Light Grenades," topped The Billboard 200 chart and sparked two No. 1 singles, "Anna Molly" and "Love Hurts."

This looks awesome, I hope its a good tour. I was so dissapointed I missed their last tour and then they went on hiatus. This makes me very happy.

Seen em a bunch of times live and used to like them a lot. In my opinion they have gone massively downhill since the original bassist left. They're still making original music and they're great musicians i'm just not liking the new style.

NIN sucks live. its one singer with a tape recorder as a band. it basically karaoke night.
and janes addiction got booed off the stage at woodstock for telling everyone to mix it up and be bisexual. however, they do have 2 decent songs :/

NIN/Janes are good, but theyre not bands I would pay to see. There's a few bands that are working on new stuff, but probly won't see anything until end of summer or fall or later (BTBAM, Deftones, Tool, and like two or three others maybe) We'll just have to see what haps

I could not agree more - "Beach Blanket Beatdown" is nothing but amazing! And I don't really like the idea of a greatest hits record...I hope incubus keep developping in a more complex way, for me they're far better with something like that instead of poppy songs...
