Alt-rock heroes Jane's Addiction have announced a major North American tour, kicking off next month. The band are calling the tour "Theatre Of The Escapists", as they’ll be playing many intimate, classic theaters, according to Hennemusic.
The 18-date trek, in support of last year’s "The Great Escape Artist", kicks off February 22 in St. Louis and ends on March 24 in Milwaukee.
"
We chose to play as many of the great theaters that we could find because we wanted to immerse the audience in a unique experience unlike any they have ever seen at a rock show," frontman
Perry Farrell said. "
Expect an orgy of musical and visual delights. We like orgies, and hope you do, too."
Tickets go on sale Saturday, January 14, with a special pre-sale beginning Wednesday, January 11.
