Lamb of God Announce Summer Tour
Lamb of God will brave Europe for the first time since Randy Blythe was arrested there in June last year, with a new tour that kicks off in August. The band were touring the Czech Republic when Blythe was arrested for manslaughter, after the United States Justice Department failed to notify the band that he was a wanted man in the country. Blythe was later found innocent after a lengthy trial. Now European Lamb of God fans in Spain, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlans, Belgium, France and the UK can look forward to seeing them on tour this summer. You can see a full list of tour dates on the Lamb of God website. As previously announced, US fans will get to see the band first with a tour across North America booked through May and June. They're also doing a mountain retreat for 170 fans in July with a packed schedule of drum clinics, songwriting sessions, Q&A sessions and plenty of live music, according to Metal Sucks. Meanwhile, guitarist Mark Morton posted a mysterious new clip of music to his Twitter feed this week. The ambient guitar track is believed to be part of the soundtrack to their forthcoming documentary "As the Palaces Burn" which looks at the effect of heavy music on people around the world, and you can download it for yourself here. What do you think Lamb of God shows will be like after Blythe's manslaughter trial? Will audiences have to tame down their behaviour, or will their shows be as crazy as ever? Let us know what you think in the comments.
