Lostprophets Run In Fall Tour Before Hitting The Studio |

Originally due to tour this fall with HIM, Lostprophets have changed the decision and plotted a headlining run of their own, according to liveDaily.com report.
The new additions to the band's schedule comprise more than a dozen dates that stretch from mid-October through early November, and include stops in the Northeast, South and Midwest.
Lostprophets were planning to link up with HIM from October 18 through Halloween, but those plans were waylaid when HIM announced last month that they were pulling out so it could instead focus on recording the next album.
Meanwhile, Lostprophets are eyeing plans for their next album, and warning fans that their current round of US shows might be their last for a while. "We aren't sure if we will be back again after these shows so if you wanna come and see us before the next record then now is the time," the group wrote in a message posted at its MySpace page.
Following their current US run, Lostprophets will mount a European tour. Details for that outing are posted at the band's website.
Tour dates are as follows:
10/13 - Allentown, PA - Crocodile Rock Cafe
10/14 - Poughkeepsie, NY - The Chance

: Neh, Hypocrisy's not bad, you can play it with a standard-tuned guitar, which I must say is a Prophets first. Their new stuff is okay, some of it is average, some of it is awesome. Let the guys make whatever music they like, man. Everyone's all "Fake Sound Of Progress, f*** my ass" because they're emo and think they're 'different', but you're all the f***ing same. When you emo kids have learnt more than 3 power chords on your crappy £99 Encore 'Stratocasters', and have made a record to be proud of (no, I don't even mean mainstream here), then you have the right to slag off the band.POSTED: 10/13/2006 - 10:39 am / quote |
