and that has to be METALLICA's fault? did you ever stop to think that could be filler info to turn those 2 sentences into an article for the viewing pleasure of UG or other sites that the boys aren't controlling?

use your brain a bit dude...

James Hetfield explained the meaning of the record's title, saying, "It started out as kind of a tribute to people that have fallen in our business, like (Alice In Chains frontman) Layne Staley and a lot of the people that have died, basically — rock and roll martyrs of sorts. And then it kind of grew from there. Thinking about death...just like a magnet, some people are drawn towards it, (and) other people are afraid of it and push away."

their explanation was that everyone has to deal with death, (people are a magnet for death i guess?) but with the people of the music industry in mind that have died at an early age?

OMG!, how many times in my life am I going to see this sentence:

It also marks the recording debut of bassist Rob Trujillo, who replaced Jason Newsted after "St. Anger" was completed.

I don't really have very high expectations for this album. I pray pray pray that this album won't be another disappointment but Metallica seems to be very consistent in disappointing us lately. I'm curious though as to whether or not Rob has what it takes to be Metallica's bassist. Still, I don't think anyone can fill Cliff's shoes..that guy was a frikkin' BEAST. Come on Metallica, give us a METALLICA album!

I love metallica and all, but mostly old. But nowdays I think megadeth really beats them because of the fact megadeth doesn't take a million years to release a new album and they don't build it up like its gonna be amazing. They record, release, tour and then start over. That way the fans get more great music without waiting forever.

Megadeth are good atm, possibly better than they have ever been on balence, but i don't care how long they take to release albums, Metallica's music (for the most part) is a lot better and their shows are just better.

Rob Trujillo fans... They are trying to make it clear that there will actually be BASS on this album as opposed to some jerk off just adding some low end notes.

Can't wait for this album; it will be epic!

I like how these guys more and more each year spit on their American fans and pretend we don't exist when we're the reason they're even on the map. I also like how much they care for their fans....but only if you shell out $60 a year.
