Alt-rockers Modest Mouse will hit the road this summer for a run of dates surrounding the band's July appearance at Chicago's Pitchfork Festival.
The outing kicks off July 2 in Royal Oak, MI, and continues through a July 24 show in Boston, with the July 16 Chicago show falling roughly in the middle of the three-week spread.

The group's most recent release, "No One's First, And You're Next," surfaced last spring.
The eight-track EP features six songs that were recently released as limited edition 7" singles, including "Satellite Skin," which surfaced in May, and last year's "Autumn Beds," as well as "King Rat," which was previously available only as a limited edition promo-only single, and "I've Got It All (Most)," which was the b-side to the band's 2004 "Float On" single.
