Motley Crue Announce 2009 Tour

After the success of this summer’s "Crue Fest", Motley Crue is quickly getting back into tour mode with this winter’s "Saints Of Los Angeles" tour in support of their album of the same name.

The North American tour will begin on February 2 in San Diego, CA and finish on March 18 in Portland, ME with special guests Hinder, Theory Of A Dead Man, and The Last Vegas. The Last Vegas were the winners of the Guitar Center On-Stage: Your Chance to Make Rock History contest and won the chance to open for Motley Crue as well as a record deal with Eleven Seven Music, management from 10th St. Entertainment, $25,000 cash, and $20,000 in gear from Gibson.

After the tour, the band will take a break before playing some European dates in June and then coming back to the states for another summer of "Crue Fest".

I remember seeing the Carnival of Sins tour - that was rather insane, they had about 2 or 3 sets of drums suspended, and Tommy was wired to the ceiling so he flew to each set as he had a drum solo.
I'm looking forward big time to the European dates - Finally get to see the crue!

Actually, they still have an amazing show. Suspended drums and all. Went to the Carnival of Sins tour in Victoria and it was amazing. Don't listen to this guy as he probably hasn't seen them in 20 years...

I'll be at the garden mutha ****as. I saw them in '05 and in the summer both times they were great. The stage show for Cruefest was not as great as carnival but still cool. The band is on all cylinders once again.

I don't know. When I saw them as part of the Carnival of Sins tour, I saw them at Copps in Hamilton. They bashed Toronto, so I wonder what trouble they've had in Toronto in the past...
