Muse Go 'Very Minimal' For Albert Hall Gig

Muse have revealed they'll be returning to a “very minimal” live show for their upcoming Royal Albert Hall gig.

The prog-rockers are noted for their all-action live shows, but they say fans can expect a back-to-basics approach for their Teenage Cancer Trust gig on the 12 April.

Matt Bellamy tells, “The Albert Hall gig will be very minimal. We won't be spending money on special effects.

"We played a couple of gigs like that in New Zealand and Eastern Europe because we couldn't get our production out there and we really enjoyed ourselves.

"It was different but it felt good."

Thanks for the info to Gigwise.com.

That'd be great to see. It'd give the gig a more intimate feeling, I think.

^ true but the effects just makes the show more interesting then just listening to the band. when i saw them, everything was dark except for a beam of light shining towards Matt's guitar and it reflected back to the crowd and it was amazing. I would still see them without the special effects

Cool band no doubt but this isn't really news, hope we don't have to wait another 3 years for the next album though

O yes you do want it to be 3 years. We don't want just good... we want AWSOME Muse. Like every album they have released so far. I went to one of the New Zealand concerts, best concert I have ever been to. Loved it and now i'm a huge fan.

Muse own every other band in the world at the moment. I tried to get tix for this gig but they were sold out in a matter of second....Wembley stadium sold out in about half an hour, and that was 90,000 odd people a night, RAH capacity is only 5000 and there was only something like 500 or so standing tix available....Random facts LOL

Yeah, so, Muse are the best

I was on holiday when this was announced and when I finally heard about it it was 11am, the tickets sold out at 10.05 or so. That sucked.
Muse to the end of the earth.
