Oasis Cancels Three More Shows

As a result of injuries obtained by guitarist Noel Gallagher after being attacked on stage on September 7 in Toronto, Oasis have had to postpone three more shows in additions to the shows they’ve missed in the past couple weeks.

Gallagher has reportedly suffered three broken bones and dislodged ribs from the attack and has been asked by his doctor to wait one more week before performing again.

The shows that will be postponed for the time being are in Cornwall, England (Sept. 27), Koln, Germany (Sept. 29), and Paris, France (Sept. 30). The shows will be rescheduled at a later date.

The band assures fans that the Oasis UK Arena Tour, beginning on October 7, will go ahead as planned. The tour will coincide with the release of the band’s new album “Dig Out Your Soul” which will release worldwide on October 6 and in the U.S. on October 7.

He might be milking it a *little*. I mean come on. A couple of my mates have had broken ribs and being back to week after a fortnights rest, and they're bloody labourers!

i think he's probably older than your mates
and if the doctors ordering him to not perform then its not his fault he cant play
im sure if he had his wa hed be performing
theyd be losing a stack of money through this but

to be fair noel can be arrogant too but i think he's kinda earned the right to be, being one of the greatest songwriters ever, and i don't see what pushing him off a stage is going to do to help anyones cause.
sucks he's injured hope he gets better quick, and hopefully comes to new zealand sometime.
