Several arrests were made by Hanover Township police in connection with incidents during Friday's (August 24) Ozzfest at Post Gazette Pavilion in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Roy J. Allen III, 36, of Warren, Ohio, faces charges including indecent assault after allegedly trying to sexually assault a 15-year-old Ohio girl in the pavilion parking lot. Sean Koval, 21, of Pittsburgh, was arrested for creating a disturbance inside the concert venue. The girl approached police Friday afternoon and told them she had been assaulted. The 15-year-old said she had gone to the concert with a group of people including a man she knew only as "Buck," who was later identified as Allen. According to police, she was sleeping in a vehicle when "Buck" started fondling her. When she told him to stop, he became upset. He took $50 from her and left, police said. After giving police a description, they found him sitting under a tree in the parking lot with another man. An acquaintance reportedly tried to interfere with police while they took Allen into custody, but there was no indication that he was charged. Allen was arraigned before District Judge J. Albert Spence on charges of indecent assault, corruption of minors, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was placed in Washington County Jail on $10,000 bond. Police contacted a child advocate for Washington County Children and Youth Services for the girl after they initially were unable to contact her parents. Police later spoke to the girl's father, and she was released to a friend. Later Friday, police were called when a disruptive guest pushed and punched other patrons. When police arrived, staff members were holding down Koval. As police attempted to take Koval away, he allegedly spat at them and tried kicking the officers. When he was placed in a Hanover patrol car, Koval kicked out the rear window, spraying glass on Officers Thomas O'Rourke and Julius Zollars. O'Rourke received cuts on his left forearm, while Zollars was cut on his right forearm and face. Koval was arraigned before District Judge J. Albert Spence on charges including two counts each of aggravated assault and simple assault and one count each of resisting arrest, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. He was placed in Washington County Jail on $20,000 bond. Police said there were other arrests, but details were not available Monday. Credits for the info to Blabbermouth.net.
