Naw, they did exactly the same last year...

...And in 2007 too: I guess they just don't like spending too much time away from their families and such

Personally I hope they don't ditch the bootleg program just 'cause it's a short tour, which is what they did 3 years ago: I had convinced a couple of my friends to come along to one of their shows and I must have told them the "PJ is the COOLEST band because their fans get to download the bootleg to the shows they attended"-story over a hundred times... And then the bootlegs never came, so it's kinda like I missed a golden opportunity to turn my mates on to PJ permanently. Instead they just got back to playing their damn Coldplay records...

Buffalo is just over an hour away, no sense going to Toronto as well.

I may make it to Buffalo, depending on how much tickets are. With 7 US/CA Maiden shows on the schedule, plus a week in Scandinavia for Sonispheres, money's not too loose this year.

Pearl Jam is one of the best live bands you will ever see. Even if you are only a casual fan, go to a show if you get the chance, you will not regret it. These guys are quality musicians, no filler, no BS, just a solid 2 hours of top quality rock.

Might go to Boston....PJ is one of the few bands from the 90s I can listen to and not want to kill myself.

I live in New Orleans so i would know jazz festival and it was originally a jazz festival a long time a go but in the last 10-15 years more rock bands have played there. Pearl Jam and Jeff Beck are headlining this year and country star Darius Rucker is playing too. Last year Bon Jovi was the headliner and the year before that(when i attended) Carlos Santana was the headliner so they have a combination of rock, jazz, country, and more genres
