Slash: Lineup For Solo Touring Band Announced

Legendary guitarist Slash has announced the lineup for his solo touring band:

  • Slash - Guitar
  • Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge) - Vocals, Guitar
  • Bobby Schneck (Weezer, Green Day) - Rhythm Guitar
  • Dave Henning (Doug Pinnick, Big Wreck) - Bass
  • Brent Fitz (Alice Cooper, Vince Neil) - Drums

    Slash's touring band will appear at Ohio's Rock On The Range festival in May, with more dates to be announced soon.

    Slash will guest on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" with host Bob Coburn on Monday, April 12 at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET. Fans are encouraged to speak with Slash by calling 1-800-344-ROCK (7625). For more information, visit RocklineRadio.com.

    "By The Sword", the first single from Slash's first true solo album, simply entitled "Slash", will be released as a digital single on March 28.

    "Slash" will be released in North America on April 6 via EMI Label Services and in the UK on May 10 through Roadrunner Records.

    oh wow, adam levine?? I can imagine this being good, but both artists would have to bend to make it work. Slash couldn't just go full balls ahead with his rock stuff and Levine will hopefully go down the Not Comin' Home/Harder to Breathe route!

    Agreed. Some of the guests look awesome, some look like shit. Theres no way I would pay money for an album with kid rock on it.

    Hope he plays Download festival. I heard a while ago it was plan but you always hear things like that.

    all songs are going to be well written and slash wouldnt have chose each singer unless they suited each song they are in.

    def chose hte best singer out all of them to tour with as well

    That's a serious line up. Talk about a Bruce Wayne account some of this talent don't come cheap. I think two guitar players is enough someone has to really stand out on this album with three guitar players unless you're Iron Maiden.
