Sweet! I have to admit, I'm not too fond of See You On the Other Side, but I've liked Korn for the longest time. I regret not going to the last Family Values tour, but I'm going to try my hardest to go to this one. It seems David's drummming wasn't so great on the new record, maybe Joey will throw in some kick ass fills.

Joey for president dude.
I like it maybe he wil inspire KoRn and otherwise inspire Joey for the next Slipknot album.
Love it Love it Love it.

i guess so. Its funny cuz slipknot used to talk all this crap about korn because david did some modeling for some company. Now joey is in his shoes or pedals now

i thought Bozzio was going to play drums for the summer tours according to the forum that was posted about how he was filling in for David acouple months ago? But if Joey is gonna be on drums this summer that will still be kick ass! Great drummer and two great bands!

Funny you say that, because they only burned David's picture, because he was in a metal band, yet he was out doing modeling ads for the gap and shit and looked like a total prep. They were trashing him for that, and I ironically I think Korn was even poking fun of him doing that in the "twisted transistor" video.(If you've seen it, youd know what i mean) Even more funny that the drummer from the band who burned his picture is now taking his place. lmao!

But I'm really surprised to hear this news too. I thought Bozz was on for their touring and stuff too, not just studio time. Joey's got some pretty big shoes to fill now, but I totally know he can do it! They should have just had Joey do both to be honest...

Zappa is amazing.

this is indeed weird because the whole picture burning thing, but corey from slipknot/stone sour sang a couple korn songs live once when jonathon wasn't there (i think it was at last years family values) so maybe its water under the bridge

sounds cool

I'm a fan of both bands, Am I the only one that's not expecting Joey to be doing anything amazing behind the kit? that's me not saying he's saying anything against his drumming.... the guys f**king awesome, but its not like he's going to be recording their new album hence he's going to be playing David's drum lines. while I know next to nothing about drums other than what I like the sounds of, isn't most of KoRn's stuff quite basic?..... although it would be cool if he did get to do a drum solo as an encore or something

it was last year at Download..... but come to think of it stonesour were on last years family values to my knowledge. if you had a problem with another band would you let their singers side project on your tour. I think its safe to say that is all behind them now. I remember something about Marilyn Manson falling out with Jon over something in the late 90s and yet he asked him to do vocals on the queen of the dammed soundtrack.

damn...

if Bozzio isnt playing w/ them live I see no reason to go

I'll probably download the album or borrow it from someone, hopefully Bozzio didnt just play w/ them for the check and I really hope he wasnt told what to do by a producer or the band, hopefully he let his creativity, style and godliness shine through...

thats a lot of hoping

I love Bozzio's stuff with Frank Zappa. Zappa is one of my idols. Bozzio was really entertaining live on stage with Frank on songs like Titties and Beer.

Why does Evanescence have to be on Family Values? I don't mind Fly Leaf, nor Atreyu...But Amy Lee seriously just needs to give up.

I'm ready for some HellYeah! And Trivium though.

Ready for Korn as well, haven't seen them since 2006.

You are very right, but Joey is a fan.it was his ideads 2 copy KoRn and capitalize the k and t (SlipKnoT) u can c at www.black-goat.com
sk8ero131 wrote:

who ****ing cares? slipknot sucks and so does korn now adding a shitty drummer from slipknot wont make korn any better in fact maybe worse cuz he might take his mask off and it will be like when kiss did that and everyone will see he's an ugly no talent poser

yes, and you, my friend, are probably a 16 year old homo-repressed mama's boy probably at this VERY moment playing with yourself. if you really dont have anything better to do than bash on others' favorite bands, then u shudnt hav dropped out of school

maybe joey can bring in some actual drumming to korn's music. seriously, i could have played korn's beats when i was 5. yeah. before i started playing drums. which i know suck at. and could still play their beats. now i play guitar.

They're talking about Joey Jordison (drummer), not Corey Taylor (vocalist).
