While not everybody knows Styx well, they have some classic hits that almost everyone has heard, such as "Come Sail Away", "Blue Collar Man", and "The Grand Illusion". Now Styx fans will be able to enjoy many of these classics live this fall as the band crosses the United States on a tour that will have them playing the entirety of two of their most famous albums.
The tour, aptly named "
The Grand Illusion / Pieces Of Eight", will have the band playing every song off the two albums (including some songs that have never been played live in the past). On top of this, at all locations during the tour an EP entitled "
Regeneration, Volume 1" will be for sale. The EP will contain six re-recorded versions of classic hits as well as one brand new track called "
Difference In The World".
While the band has never been the same since departure of lead singer and founding member Dennis DeYoung, they are still guaranteed to put on a great show and will be playing at the following venues in these locations:
