Don't come to the Midwest. It's not as if you have any following here or anything.

switchfoots popularity took a huge cut in the stereotypical "midwestern republican evangelical" market when they released nothing is sound ... and the reason they did is because their music improved ... you don't see pop tracks like "gone" on nothing is sound ... what you do see is the music that these people actually need to listen to ... music htat takes a much more realistic, sober viewpoint on a christian's (or any person's) purpose in life ...

considering that they knew this was going to make a big dent in their audience, i think they deserve to be recognized for their bravery, and i'm hoping oh! gravity is the same stuff ...

I do wish they did have a few more tour dates in the midwest/plains, though. I'd like to see them. Maybe in Oklahoma City.

I agree 100%! Nothing Is Sound >>>> Beautiful Letdown, at least in terms of honesty. And really, they aren't giving the Christians around here a lot of credit if THAT's their reason.

Oh! Gravity is catchy. Seems like they are going back to what they did on Beautiful Letdown...didn't really hear much off of Nothing Is Sound...ah well...
