Switchfoot Plot North American Tour

The trek begins Feb. 14 at the House of Blues in Anaheim, Calif., and wraps March 31 in the quintet's San Diego homebase. Fans might even expect a concert after the concert in some instances.

"I often find that after I get off stage I still have more music left in me. Hanging out with our friends in Nickel Creek in Chicago taught me what to do with the leftover music," Switchfoot frontman Jon Foreman wrote in his Billboard tour diary in November. "You play somewhere else in town after the show. So we've been trying to find places to play after our shows, (usually a bar or a coffee shop within walking distance) where we can bring in an acoustic guitar and get all the music out that might have been left over from the show."

"Oh! Gravity" entered The Billboard 200 yesterday (Jan. 3) at No. 18 with first-week sales of 63,000 units.

thats a nice circle of a tour they're puttin on. start on the west coast, go up through canada, go down the east coast and through the south. nice shaft for the fans in the middle of the U.S.

To those who can't decide if they want to go to one of these concerts: Go. For Copeland atleast. They're awesome.

I like these guy's cds but I didn't think they sounded taht great on a live DVD I got with one of their cds.

I used to love switchfoot. But every cd they put out sounded worse than the one before it. I hope this ones better than nothing is sound... from what ive heard of it its ok. not great, just ok. idk if I'll buy it yet though. oh, and the reason that switchfoot isnt coming through the middle of the US? THEY got shafted in Iowa, i think about 13 people showed up to their concert last year.
