System Of A Down Ask Fans For Setlist Requests For Summer Shows

System Of A Down are asking their fans to submit setlist requests for their summer shows.

They're running a competition from Systemofadown.com, with those submitting setlist requests getting the chance to win gig tickets.

"We want to know which songs you most want to hear on the road this summer", band explained.

"As a reward for telling us your top six setlist requests, one winner from each tour city will win a pair of tickets to his/her local show. They will also win a setlist from the show they attended, signed by all of us."

The contest includes System Of A Down's upcoming headline performance at the UK's Download Festival on June 11.

The band had been on hiatus since 2006 before announcing they were getting together for 2011 gigs.

I too would much rather they didn't play much, if anything, from the last two albums, excluding Soldier Side and Lost In Hollywood, as my favourite albums are the self-titled and Toxicity. I didn't care so much for Steal This Album though.

People prefer the older stuff for more reasons than being 'hipster' as you put it - the newer stuff is very different and I see most people listing all songs from that as people who started liking the band at the end of their career when they were running out of ideas.
