Jack Black and Kyle Gass, a.k.a. Tenacious D, are gearing up for a busy fall that will see the duo release its first feature film and accompanying soundtrack, and mount a US tour to support the project.
Titled "Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny," the new flick -- which includes cameos by Meatloaf and Ronnie James Dio -- arrives in theaters November 17, while the soundtrack of the same name hits shelves November 14. Produced by the Dust Brothers and mixed by Ken Andrews (A Perfect Circle), the album features a guest appearance from longtime Tenacious D cohort and drummer Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), as well as bassist John Spiker and guitarist John Konesky.
