artist: tesla date: 11/27/2008 category: upcoming tours
rating: 0 / votes: 0

According to Bring Back Glam!, Tesla has been added to the list of performers at ShipRocked, an unparalleled five-day rock and roll music cruise. Departing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida on November 15, 2009, ShipRocked will sail to Ocho Rios, Jamaica and Grand Cayman, before returning on November 20.

In addition to Tesla, ShipRocked will feature live performances on multiple stages by Queensrÿche, Skid Row, Endeverafter, Lynam, and several other major artists being announced soon. Throughout the cruise, ShipRocked passengers will be treated to an array of on-board events and activities, including meet and greets with the artists, theme nights, heavy metal karaoke, contests, charity auctions, and maybe even a few all-star jam sessions!

Everyone onboard will feel like a rock star, as they bask in both sun and luxury on MSC's Poesia. The Poesia is the third spectacular vessel in the MSC Cruise Line's "Musica" family of ships. This amazing super-liner features MSC Cruise Line's signature Italian inspired decor, impeccable service, sumptuous cuisine in multiple restaurants, beautiful swimming pools, hot tubs, a full-service spa and fitness center. Nearly two-thirds of the ship's staterooms include private balconies.

ShipRocked will truly be the ultimate rock and roll vacation and backstage pass.

Pricing for ShipRocked begins at only $599 per passenger, with early booking discounts and exclusive passenger packages available.

Thanks for the report to Blabbermouth.net.

Skid Row and Tesla are the only ones I'd watch there. And I think it's a bit of a cheesy thing this "rock n roll" package holiday.

Thanks, but no thanks.

As far as a cruise goes, that's fairly manageable.

I think it's a pretty cool concept, maybe some better band choices though.

its likely to only attract 40 year olds with mullets (just kidding) but seems pretty cool, it'd be neat to see queensryche and tesla, and i love Skid Row, but i doubt Sebastion will be with them

i guess this is the "rock and roll" alternative to the barenaked ladies "ships and dips" cruise. sounds pretty fun, although the lineup doesnt completely appeal to me.
