The Good, The Bad & The Queen will play the Tower of London this summer, it has been announced, according to Y! Music.
Damon Albarn's pop supergroup have confirmed details of the one-off show, which will reflect the well-reported themes and concept of the band and their debut album.
In a statement, they said the show at the historic landmark would act as a "celebration of London's musical identity and history."
The group, which will also play the 2007 Glastonbury Festival, commented: "
This will be the first summertime performance of The Good, The Bad & The Queen. The album has been played live at many winter gigs around the U.K. and Europe, but this Tower Of London show will be the first outdoor gig in London, naturally the venue is of fitting historic significance sitting alongside the oft-mentioned River Thames."
Tickets for the gig, which takes place on July 9, are on sale now.
In other news, The Good, the Bad and the Queen have released a new iTunes-exclusive live EP recorded at the Apple Store in New York City. Appropriately titled Live From Soho EP, the disc includes five live songs including tracks from The Good, The Bad and The Queen.
