The Offspring Add More Dates

The Offspring have announced additional tour dates in preparation of the release of their upcoming album. The band will join the May 30 lineup of Madrid‘s Electric Festival alongside Rage Against The Machine, Queens Of The Stone Age, Iggy & The Stooges and more.

They will also headline the Rockwave Festival at Terra Vibe Park in Athens, Greece on July 8, which will be the band‘s first ever visit to Greece. Finally they will headline Santa Barbara, CA radio station KJEE‘s Summer Round Up on Sunday, May 18 at the Santa Barbara Bowl.

The mysterious new album is the follow up to 2003's Splinter. The band hasn't revealed too much about the record, only saying: "think all our albums are relevant to punk when they were created, and this one will be no different..."

Rockwave this summer, last year Metallica, this year Offspring, cant wait!!

I heard Judas Priest were coming and got all dissapointed until I heard about Offspring, then I got excited again.

Rumor has it that the first single is going to be Hammerhead, the song the played live a few times now. That's definitely an improvement. If that's true then it'll be the best first single since Ixnay.

Sweet. I'm gonna see them at Rock in Rio in June. Been listening to them since I first got my hands on Americana, which was when I was 11 I think. One of the first CDs I got that set me on the right track (music-wise at least, jaja).

The Offspring are great. They play music just for the fun of it, they don't take themselves too seriously, don't live one ego, they rock!
